about us

Our Vice President of Sales and Engineering has over 35 years of experience in Field Service Engineering catering to heat transfer equipment. This experience covers the complete cycle of equipment from initial design through fabrication, field installation and operation of new equipment to refurbishment of older equipment. Other engineering staff members have similar levels of experience in design and manufacturing of feedwater heaters, fin-tube exchangers, general shell and tube exchangers and surface condensers and associated piping and structural systems. Our new shop has fabrication capabilities to meet your most demanding quality requirements for pressure vessel, piping and boiler components.

Our repair department can rebuild your heat transfer equipment on site or in our shop to meet or exceed the original design requirements.

OEM Welding, LLC is proud to announce that as of May 1, 2009 the engineering and design company Applied Information Development, Inc., AID, Inc., will transfer all operations to OEM Welding, LLC. This will greatly enhance the Engineering capabilities of the Engineering section of OEM Welding. Designs cover feedwater heaters, shell & tube exchangers, fin tube exchangers and condensers.  Users of this equipment include petro-chemical industries, food processing industries and power generation systems and other industries that have heat exchangers imbedded in their systems.

The engineering staff at OEM Welding, LLC will continue to provide support for all past and present AID, Inc. projects.  We will have full access to all past records and files to assure a smooth transition of all current and new projects. This will be beneficial to everyone involved, OEM Welding as well as our new and existing AID customers.

The main thermal design will continue to be driven by the use of AIDEX, the program that AID spent years perfecting.  Since OEM Welding, LLC is a fully qualified ASME fabrication site, you can be assured that all mechanical designs will be up-to-date and meet the latest ASME Code Design Requirements.

Specifically for the shops that depended on AID, Inc. for thermal and mechanical design, OEM Welding, LLC will not knowingly compete against you for fabrication work.  We are here to help if you need assistance in meeting deadlines or temporary help in meeting surges in demand.

We here at OEM Welding, LLC are looking forward to a friendly business relationship with all past, present and future customers who contact us for their heat transfer needs.

Feel free to contact Grady R. Vandiver, Jr., P.E. with any questions you may have concerning your heat transfer equipment or need for this type of equipment.
